Day 01 :

Imlil → Tizi Mzik Pass → Azib Tamsoulte or Refuge

Start: From Imlil (~1,740 m)

Hike through: Walnut groves, Berber villages, and up to Tizi Mzik Pass (2,480 m)

Descend into: The beautiful Azzaden Valley

Optional visit to Tamsoulte Waterfall (highest in the Atlas)

Overnight: Refuge at Azib Tamsoulte (2,250 m) or nearby tents

Hiking time: 5–6 hours

Day 02 :

Azib Tamsoulte → Toubkal Refuge (via Tizi n’Aguelzim Pass)

Morning climb: Up to Tizi n’Aguelzim (3,560 m) — one of the best viewpoints in the Atlas!

Trail: Steep and rocky but rewarding

Descend to Toubkal Refuge (3,200 m) for the night

Overnight: Refuge (Mouflons or Neltner)

Hiking time: 6–7 hours

> This day involves high-altitude trekking. You’ll feel the thin air but sleep just below summit altitude.

Day 03 :

Summit Day – Toubkal Ascent → Return to Imlil

Start early: Around 4:30–5:00 AM to reach the summit before sunrise/light

Climb: 3–4 hours up a steep scree path to the summit (4,167 m)

Views from summit: Panoramic – Sahara Desert to the south, Atlas ranges all around

Descend: Back to the refuge (~2 hrs), short break, then descend to Imlil (4–5 hrs)

Total hiking: ~9–10 hours

Transfer: Return to Marrakech (if arranged)
