Day 1: Marrakech – Aït Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley
Depart from Marrakech early in the morning, crossing the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2260m) in the High Atlas Mountains.
Visit the famous Kasbah of Aït Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site and filming location for many movies. Continue to Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Africa.”
Travel through the Valley of Roses before reaching the beautiful Dades Valley, where you’ll have dinner and overnight in a traditional riad or hotel.
Day 2: Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Merzouga Desert (Erg Chebbi)
After breakfast, drive to the spectacular Todra Gorges, a natural canyon with 300-meter cliffs, popular among climbers. Continue through Tinjdad and Erfoud before arriving in Merzouga.
Here, your camel trekking adventure begins. Ride across the Erg Chebbi dunes and admire the sunset over the Sahara.
Arrive at your Berber desert camp, enjoy a delicious dinner, Berber drumming music, and a peaceful night under the starry sky.
Day 3: Merzouga – Draa Valley – Ouarzazate – Marrakech
Wake up early to witness the magical sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, return by camel or 4×4 to meet your driver.
Head back to Marrakech via Alnif, N’Kob, and the beautiful Draa Valley, Morocco’s longest river valley filled with palm trees and kasbahs. Arrive in Marrakech in the evening — full of memories from your desert adventure.
